Basic aims of the programme

The aim of the Doctoral study programme Information society is to enable postgraduates to develop their own contribution to the Information society with the help of their supreme knowledge and skills from the field of social sciences, knowledge of social research methods and knowledge of information-communication technology (ICT).

After the third level they will be able to generate new knowledge and contribute to the field of informatics with their research work. They will be also capable to take part and to coordinate the creative working process in organisations in economics, in public administration or non-government organisations.
