Igor Trajanovski je diplomiral iz sociologije in magistriral iz mednarodne politike na Univerzi St. Cirila in Metoda (Skopje, Makedonija). Trenutno zaključuje doktorski študij sociologije na Fakulteti za uporabne družbene študije v Novi Gorici. Tema doktorske disertacije je “Vloga osebnosti v času intenzivnih družbenih sprememb: primer prvega predsednika Republike Makedonije Kira Gligorova.”
Ima izkušnje v politiki, javni upravi in gospodarstvu. V dveh štiriletnih mandatih na neposrednih volitvah je bil izvoljen za člana sveta občine Butel (ena od občin v mestu Skopje, Republika Makedonija).
Ima dolgoletne vodstvene izkušnje v zavarovalnici.
Kot namestnik direktorja Agencije za tuje investicije in promocijo izvoza Republike Makedonije je sodeloval z uglednimi domačimi in tujimi podjetji. Tesno je sodeloval z ministri gospodarskega resorja v vladi Republike Makedonije.
Fakulteti za informacijske študije se je pridružil leta 2023. Je asistent na področju politologije in trenutno dela na Erasmus+ Partnership for Innovation projektu IPR4SC (Developing skills in Intellectual property rights open data for sustainability and circularity).

Igor Trajanovski received BSc in sociology and MA in international politics from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius (Skopje, Macedonia). He is currently completing PhD studies in sociology at the School of Advanced Social Studies (Nova Gorica, Slovenia). The doctoral dissertation topic is “The role of the personality in times of intense social changes: the case of the first president of the Republic of Macedonia, Kiro Gligorov.”
He has experience in politics, public administration and the business sector. In two four-year terms in direct elections, he was elected as a member of the council of Butel municipality (one of the municipalities in the city of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia). He has many years of managerial experience in an insurance company. As deputy director of the Agency for foreign investments and export promotion of the Republic of Macedonia, he collaborated with renowned domestic and foreign companies. He was in close cooperation with the ministers of the economic department in the government of the Republic of Macedonia.
He joined the Faculty of Information Studies in 2023. He is an assistant in the field of political sciences and is currently working on Erasmus+ Partnership for Innovation project IPR4SC (Developing skills in Intellectual property rights open data for sustainability and circularity).
