Centre for the Development of Pedagogical Competences of Higher Education Teachers and Assistants

On 14 April 2025, the Centre for the Development of Pedagogical Competences of Higher Education Teachers and Assistants (CDPC) was established as a working body of the FIS Senate. 

The CDPC has the following basic tasks:

  1. Organisation of training for the development of pedagogical competences
  2. Purchase, collection, and promotion of materials for the development of pedagogical competences
    2.1 Digital library in Moodle
    2.2 Supplementing the FIS physical library
  3. Forum
    3.1 Informing about upcoming training activities for the development of pedagogical competences
    3.2 Informing about new materials (digital or physical) for the development of pedagogical competences
    3.3 Providing teaching support for higher education teachers and assistants
    3.4 Promoting cross-curricular cooperation
    3.5 Sharing good practices
    3.6 Promoting pedagogical excellence

The CDPC members are all active teachers and assistants in each academic year. Notifications, materials, and invitations are made available to them via the online classroom Moodle.

  • From 1 January 2026: Asst. Prof. Dr. Klavdija Zorec, Nina Malovrh; Coordination: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Urška Fric

The following faculty members are also involved in task implementation:

  • Dean – primarily responsible for task 3.6
  • Heads of departments and the doctoral division – primarily responsible for tasks 3.3, 3.4, and 3.5
