Informatics in Contemporary Society (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Informatics in Contemporary Society deepens the basic knowledge from the first level with new knowledge in the field of information technology. It also expends methodological knowledge and educates future information system managers, user experience designers, project managers, analysts and decision-makers capable of understanding the meaning and use of ICT in society.

The aim of the study programme is to educate graduates with broad, practical knowledge, enabling them to easily integrate into various work processes in organizations within the economy, public administration, or non-governmental organizations, or to continue their studies at the third cycle.

Computer Science and Web Technologies (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Computer Science and Web Technologies builds on the professional knowledge acquired at the first level of study. It complements knowledge of programming, advanced data analysis methods, development of user experience, maintenance of user software solutions in organizations and enables graduates to act as independent creators in the field of new and innovative ICT-based services.

The goal of the study programme is to educate top-tier engineers with in-depth knowledge in the fields of computer science and information and communication technology. Graduates will learn the possibilities and methods for utilizing web services and other modern computing technologies to develop web and mobile solutions, support business operations, and create new, innovative services.

Data Sciences (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Data Sciences study programme, built on the latest trends and insights, equips graduates with in-depth knowledge of modern data analysis and specific knowledge related to the specifics of data within individual disciplines or special types of data. This includes a wide range of advanced methods of data analysis and other concepts of modern data sciences. It also includes independent development of algorithmic and software solutions for various types of problems related to data analysis for scientific, commercial and other purposes.

The students will be able to tackle challenges in processing and analyzing large datasets in real-world environments, utilizing artificial intelligence to drive innovative solutions.

Cyber Security (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Cyber Security is a new study programme designed to equip graduates with in-depth knowledge of the use of information and communication technologies in organizational operations, as well as methods and techniques for protecting and securing organizations, their information systems, and employees from cyber threats.

The students acquire the understanding of the impact of cyber risks on business operations, the knowledge of the right requirements and related legislation, as well as the methods of assessing or auditing cyber security.

Business Informatics (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Business Informatics is a new study programme will equip graduates with in-depth knowledge of the use of ICT in organizational operations and methods and techniques for digital transformation.

The students will be prepared for professional and leadership positions in IT departments, business process or digitalization units, project management, and work related to business transformation and informatization. The knowledge and competencies gained will enable them to build a successful professional career in the digital economy.

Law and Leadership in Digital Society (MA)

The Master’s Study Programme Law and Leadership in Digital Society will equip graduates with in-depth knowledge of the legal aspects of digitalisation and sustainable development in organisations, including the legal regulation of work processes and human resource management, as well as business in the e-environment (contract formation), organisational and corporate leadership (corporate law aspects), management of industrial property rights, and effective dispute resolution.

The acquired knowledge and competences will enable graduates of the programme to pursue a successful professional career and assume leadership roles within the digital economy, whether in Slovenia, the EU, or beyond, in both the private and public sectors.
