scientific and scholarly literature. If you would like remote access to the database or from FIS premises, please email knjiznica@fis.unm.si. - FIŠ students also have access to other information resources that can be accessed remotely or from FIS premises.
- Find, reserve or renew the loan period using the mCOBISS mobile app. Resources can also be reserved and extended by email: knjiznica@fis.unm.si or via the Cobiss+ My Profile online service. You can borrow items during the library’s opening hours (see Opening hours below), or after opening hours by prior arrangement by email knjiznica@fis.unm.si.

The library is primarily intended for students, lecturers and researchers of the Faculty of Information Studies and the Faculty of Applied Social Studies. It is also open to other users in the fields of science, research and education. Its mission is to provide ongoing study support and additional information to all its students and educators, and to provide essential literature for the research work of researchers. It offers its users free access to basic and recent books and reference material, organised by basic subject groupings. There are also databases of articles, abstracts and other texts that can be accessed remotely from home with a username and password. The library has a computer for searching the library catalogue and for browsing the Internet.
