Brief project description
The project comprises the design, development, establishment and upgrading of advanced algorithms to support decision-making in the labour market. A key element of the project is the development of innovative solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, enabling more effective analysis and interpretation of labour market data. The algorithmic systems developed within the project will be integrated into the information system of the Employment Service of Slovenia, thereby contributing to greater responsiveness and efficiency of services in the areas of employment and career development.
Within the project, the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto provides high-performance computing infrastructure and leading experts in the fields of data science and artificial intelligence. The development of algorithms is organised into three main work packages, covering the development of the first and second sets of algorithms, as well as their further optimisation and upgrading.
Main and specific objectives of the project
The main objective of the project is to establish an advanced algorithmic system that will support decision-making processes in the labour market through the use of modern approaches in data analytics and artificial intelligence. The solutions developed will enhance the capacity to analyse complex data, enabling improved forecasting of labour market trends and needs.
Project implementation
The project is implemented on the basis of a public procurement procedure and is divided into three key sets of activities, or work packages. In the first phase, the first set of algorithms is planned and developed, forming the foundation for further upgrades. This is followed by the development of the second set of algorithms, which includes more specific and complex analytical models. In the final phase of the project, all developed systems are optimised and upgraded, ensuring their long-term effectiveness and adaptability to changes in the labour market.
The project also includes regular cooperation with the contracting authority in integrating the solutions into its information system, as well as providing support in the use of the developed tools.
