On August 20, 2026, the Senate of the University of Novo mesto, Faculty of Information Studies, adopted a resolution regarding the election of a replacement member of the UNM FIS Senate—a higher education teacher.
Candidates may be nominated by at least three higher education teachers or researchers who are members of the Academic Assembly of the UNM FIS.
The nomination must include the candidate’s first and last name, along with their title and field of expertise; a list of the courses for which they are the lecturer or co-lecturer; the signatures of the three nominators; the candidate’s written consent; a statement confirming that they meet the conditions set forth in Point 3 of Resolution 42/ 24-28-4, and a brief curriculum vitae.
One copy of the completed nomination form must be submitted; the signatories may sign it by hand or electronically. It must be delivered to the faculty secretariat in a sealed envelope by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at the latest, with the following notation: “For the Election Commission – Election of a Replacement Member of the UNM FIS Senate – Higher Education Teacher” or sent to the email address pravno.kadrovska@fis.unm.si with the subject line: “For the Election Commission – Election of a Replacement Member of the UNM FIS Senate – Higher Education Teacher.”
