Based on the resolution calling for the first election of members of the Senate of the University of Novo mesto, which we received from Prof. Dr. Janez Povh, Acting Rector of the University of Novo mesto, we invite you to submit your candidacy for membership on the Senate of the University of Novo mesto.
A candidate may submit their own nomination, or a member of the competent body may submit a nomination on behalf of another candidate with the latter’s written consent.
Nominations must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on September 10, 2026, to the email address pravno.kadrovska@fis.unm.si and addressed to the Election Commission.
The nomination must include at least the candidate’s first and last name, academic or scientific title, the name of the member or associate member institution, the scientific or professional field, information regarding the fulfilment of candidacy requirements, and the candidate’s written consent if the nomination is not submitted by the candidate themselves; the use of forms is not required.
Elected representatives must meet the conditions set forth in the Statute of the University of Novo mesto and the Rules on the First Elections of the Rector and Members of the Senate of the University of Novo mesto; namely, they must hold at least the title of assistant professor or research associate and must be employed at the university or its member institutions for a combined total of at least 25 percent of a full-time equivalent.
