Our faculty is concluding the first academic year of the Jean Monnet Chair Inclusive Communities for European Industry 5.0 (IC4EU) project, which is co-financed by the European Commission under the ERASMUS+ programme. Over the past the year, we have successfully integrated the project’s thematic focus into our teaching and research activities.

Students have participated in courses related to European Industry 5.0 trends and action research. We organised several events, including a roundtable discussion on Industry 5.0 with notable guests specializing in the fields of artificial intelligence, work processes, and sustainability, as well as a study visit to the Factory of the Future at the Rudolfovo Institute. We are also proud of our scientific contributions presented at the 17th Slovenian Social Science Conference and organisation of the Community in Action School event, which brought together numerous stakeholders.

More information about the project and upcoming events is available on the project’s website and LinkedIn profile.

The project lead at FIS is Prof. Dr. Tea Golob.
