Doc. dr. Tomaž Aljaž has in the period from 20th until 24th of February 2023, as part of the Erasmus+ project, participated in the mobility of workers with the aim of carrying out pedagogical activities at the School of Computer Engineering, Gran Canaria.

The preparation and implementation of Erasmus+ mobility at the School of Computer Engineering was focused on establishing the foundations of future cooperation in pedagogical cooperation, as well as in student mobility and potential joint projects.

Doc. dr. Aljaž presented the subject areas he covers, and got to know their activities in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence with interest. He specially highlighted the current artificial vision project of Gran Canaria trail race, which took place during the week of his exchange. Within this project, they have, with the help of artificial vision, analysed the running of individuals in various locations (in the city, mountains, etc.) and offered data for further analysis. As part of the mobility, he also visited their campus, classrooms and laboratories. Finally, he visited the city of Las Palmas itself.

Doc. dr. Aljaž additionally pointed out that they said goodbye with the hope for future mutual cooperation.
