Are you interested in informatics, computer science, web technologies, data sciences, cyber security, or study of information society? Then you are in the right place!

 

The Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto (FIS) offers you, as of the Undegraduate stage, a wide range of knowledge both from the view of social science and technic, which is included in the study program Informatics in Contemporary Society (full-time and part-time mode of study), as well as from the field of development and programming, which is covered by the study program Computer Science and Web Technologies (full-time and part-time mode of study).

The knowledge acquired at the first level of study can also be elevated on the eponymous Master’s programs of Informatics in Contemporary Society (full-time and part-time mode of study) and Computer Science and Web Technologies (full-time and part-time mode of study). Faculty also offers study on the master’s programs of: Data Science (full-time and part-time mode of study), Cyber Security (part-time mode of study in English) and Business Informatics (part-time study in English). Information Society (full-time mode of study) is a faculty’s doctoral program.

An important advantage of studying at FIS is also the possibility of hybrid attendance of lectures and exercises, which means that students can choose, if they rather attend lectures and exercises live, at the premises of the faculty, or from the comfort of their own home, via a video-conferencing online tool.
