Today, 1 March 2024, the inaugural lecture of Prof. Dr. Biljana Mileva Boshkoska entitled “Explainable Decision Making: Bridging the Gap Between Experts and Big Data in a Digital World” took place.
In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Boshkoska presented a range of decision-making models, from simple expert systems to those using the latest big programming-language models. She particularly emphasized the importance of comprehensibility in the decision-making process, ensuring transparency and building trust in the results.
