On 29 September 2026, the TEAM project – Telemedicine Education Advancement through Micro-Credentials – will hold its Final Conference and Final Steering Committee Meeting at the Faculty of Information Studies (FIS), Slovenia.
The event will mark an important milestone for the Erasmus+ TEAM project, bringing together project partners, healthcare and education experts, industry representatives and other stakeholders to reflect on project achievements and discuss the future of telemedicine education in Europe.
Throughout the day, the TEAM consortium will present key project results developed across its work packages – from mapping telemedicine education and industry needs to developing and validating telemedicine micro-credentials, demonstrating the Telemedicine Digital Warehouse, and presenting recommendations for the wider uptake and sustainability of project results.
A central part of the programme will be the expert panel discussion “The Future of Telemedicine Education in Europe.” The discussion will address some of the most relevant questions facing digital health education today: Which skills will healthcare professionals need in the coming years? What role can micro-credentials play in responding to rapidly changing workforce needs? How can universities and industry work together more effectively? And what is needed to ensure the sustainable adoption of telemedicine across Europe?
The programme will also feature perspectives from medical education, industry and SMEs, insights into telemedicine in challenging and crisis environments, including lessons from Ukraine, and discussions on future policy and cooperation opportunities.
