We at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto (FIŠ) invite you to our next information day, which will take place on Thursday, 19 September 2024, at 17:00, via Zoom. You can study full-time or part-time at all three levels at our faculty, and at this online event, we will pay special attention to the 2nd and 3rd level study programmes, for which the 6th application period is currently open.

A combination of social, business and IT skills can be obtained at the undergraduate and master’s study programme in Informatics in Contemporary Society. If you want to acquire development and programming skills, you should check out the undergraduate and master’s study programme in Computer Science and Web Technologies.

In addition to the above-mentioned programmes, you can also choose between the master’s study programmes in Data Sciences, which is the right choice for computer and statistics enthusiasts, and Cyber Security, which covers the protection of information and communication technology in organisations against cyber threats.

With us, you can also study at the third level, at our doctoral study programme in Information Society. Our doctoral students, supported by their mentors, carry out independent scientific research work at the intersection of social relations, information technologies and their applications.

An important advantage of studying with us is that you can participate in lectures and tutorials online at all three levels of study. Students can choose individually whether to attend in person, on the premises of the faculty, or online from anywhere in Slovenia or abroad.

Enrolment slots are still available for all study programmes, but places are filling up fast, so be quick with your application!

The sixth application period is currently open for entry to the 2nd (master’s) and 3rd (doctoral) levels and will run until 23 September 2024. If there are still vacancies after this application period, applications will be accepted until the places are filled, but no later than 26 September 2024. For entry to the 1st level of study (undergraduate), the deadline to fill the remaining enrolment slots is from 25 September 2024 until 26 September 2024, 10:00.
