Kseniia Gromova is employed as a young researcher at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto at the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence “Innovations and Technologies in Regional Development” from 2023. Her research areas include economic sociology and regional development, especially the development of successful industrial regions using the method of social fields analysis. Her research within the Young researcher project includes the analysis of industrial locality as a social field shaped by three social factors: institutions, social networks and cognitive frameworks (Social-Fields-Approach (SOFIA).
The young researcher also participates in the implementation of the courses Information Society, e-Politics and e-Democracy.

Kseniia Gromova graduated in 2016 in the field of intercultural communication and linguistics and in 2018 received a master’s degree in international management. In order to continue her research career, in 2022 she completed a second master’s degree in intercultural management at the School of Advanced Social Studies (SASS) in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. As part of her studies, she researched the gender gap, national identity, international human resource management and the employment of self-initiated expatriates. Since 2023, she is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto (Doctoral studies in the Information Society program).
