Culinary Traveling Presentation – A Showcase of the Cuisine of Ethnic Groups

On Tuesday, 18 November 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm, we invite you to the event Culinary Traveling Presentation – A Showcase of the Cuisine of Ethnic Groups, taking place as part of the international project Culinary Trail of the Ethnic and Local Cuisine in the Danube Region.
The event is aimed at all culinary enthusiasts, researchers of cultural heritage, tourism and local development professionals, and anyone interested about how culinary traditions can bring communities together and promote sustainable development across the Danube region.
Visitors will be able to discover a rich variety of traditional dishes, preparation techniques and culinary stories of ethnic groups living along the Danube. The showcase will blend flavour, knowledge, creativity and intercultural dialogue. There will also be opportunities to meet the creators, taste the dishes and exchange experiences.

The Culinary Trail of the Ethnic and Local Cuisine in the Danube Region project is co-funded by the Interreg Danube Region Programme. Slovenian project partners include the Faculty of Applied Social Studies (FUDŠ) as the lead partner, Rudolfovo – Scientific and Technological Centre Novo mesto, and the Faculty of Information Studies (FIS). Together with international partners from 14 countries, they are developing innovative approaches to preserving, researching and promoting culinary heritage and sustainable tourism in the Danube region.
