On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, we held a graduation ceremony for graduates of the Faculty of Information Studies at the Hotel Šport Otočec in Novo Mesto.

Diplomas were awarded to 44 graduates of undergraduate and graduate study programs.

The gathering was addressed by Dean Prof. Dr. Matej Makarovič, who emphasized in his speech that a diploma is not just a piece of paper, but proof that graduates are able to combine the logic of information science with an understanding of social processes, which is a rare and highly valued combination.

The keynote speaker was Mr. Tomaž Kordiš, Director of the Dolenjska and Bela Krajina Chamber of Commerce. Through his leadership, he connects the education and business sectors, which is particularly important for our graduates entering the job market. His work reflects a commitment to innovation, digitalisation, and the creation of a stimulating environment for young professionals.

The ceremony was enriched by Anja Pevec, who sang the anthem, and singer Klara Klemenčič and guitarist Alex Zorko, who concluded the event.
