The Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto (FIŠ) invites you to our Information Days on Friday, 14 February 2025, and Saturday, 15 February 2025. Join us in person at the faculty or online to explore how our programmes at all three levels of study can shape your future.
A Diverse Range of Study Programmes
At the first, bachelor’s level, we offer two higher professional degree programmes. If you are interested in social sciences combined with IT and business studies, the Informatics in Contemporary Society programme is the perfect fit for you. Meanwhile, the Computer Science and Web Technologies programme is designed for those who wish to delve deeper into development and programming.
At the second level of study, you have even more options. The Informatics in Contemporary Society and Computer Science and Web Technologies master’s programmes build on their undergraduate counterparts. In addition, we offer master’s programmes in Data Science, Cyber Security, Business Informatics, and Law and Leadership in Digital Society. The latter is a brand-new programme that will be introduced in the upcoming academic year.
At the third level of study, you can choose between a doctoral study programme Information Society and our newly introduced doctoral programme Information Sciences.
Hybrid Mode of Study
At FIŠ, we offer a flexible study experience with hybrid participation options for lectures and tutorials at all three study levels. FIŠ students can choose whether to attend classes in person at our premises or online from anywhere in Slovenia or abroad. Our renowned professors, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and strong partnerships with local businesses ensure comprehensive support every step of the way.
