On Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14, 2026, we successfully held hybrid information days at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto. We were visited by many high school students, to whom we were happy to present our faculty, study programs, and professors. Great interest was also shown in numerous conversations with our professors, to whom the students turned with additional questions and requests for clarification.

Before the event began, we were also visited by the Slovenian Press Agency, which conducted a short interview with the vice-dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Urška Fric. 

Participants learned about our bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral study programs, employment opportunities after graduation, and other activities that we offer within the faculty.

They also had the opportunity to ask questions to our teachers, professional staff from the department, and student representatives.

We would like to remind everyone who will be enrolling in undergraduate study programs this year that the first application deadline for undergraduate study programs opens on February 18 and lasts until March 18, 2026. Applications for enrolment are submitted via an electronic application on the eVŠ web portal.
