Event AlgoTrade will take place in Zagreb between 8 and 12 April 2024, organised by the Computer Science Students Club of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Zagreb (X.FER) and the Financial Club of Zagreb. Their common goal is to bring together the best European students and offer them opportunities to improve their knowledge and advance in the field. This year’s event will focus on finding optimal solutions to problems in the energy market.
AlgoTrade will consist of two parts: four lectures and a hackathon. The latter will focus on an optimisation algorithm problem with data science elements related to power system economics, and the contestants will compete for a cash prize of €10 000.
