In November 2025, the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto took part for the first time in the charitable initiative St Nicholas’ Angels / Miklavževi angelčki (Young Caritas). Through this initiative, we supported children from socially disadvantaged families and helped create festive moments that they might not otherwise have been able to experience. The activity was carried out as part of the FIS Eco-School programme and encouraged a strong sense of solidarity within the local community.

Together, we prepared 20 gift boxes, which were handed over to Young Caritas for distribution to children, bringing them moments of joy, care and festive warmth.

The success of the initiative reflects the high level of engagement among FIŠSstudents and staff, as well as their willingness to contribute and support others. Through this project, the Faculty once again demonstrated its commitment to compassion, sustainable development and social responsibility.
