The Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto (FIS) invites you to our Information Day, which will take place on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at 17:00. Join us in person at the faculty or online and discover how our study programmes at all three levels can shape your future.

A Diverse Range of Study Programmes

At the first, bachelor’s level, you can choose from three study programmes. If you are interested in the social sciences in connection with informatics and business studies, the professional study programme Informatics in Contemporary Society is the right choice for you. Those more drawn to application development and programming will find their place in the professional study programme Computer Science and Web Technologies. You can also choose the academic study programme Business Management in a Digital Society, which effectively prepares you to integrate information technology with the challenges of the digital society.

At the second, master’s level, the range of study options becomes even more diverse. In addition to the continuation of the two bachelor’s programmes – Informatics in Contemporary Society and Computer Science and Web Technologies – you can also choose from the master’s programmes Data Science, Cyber Security, Business Informatics, and the brand-new Law and Leadership in Digital Society, which we will launch in the upcoming academic year.

At the third, doctoral level, you can choose between the Information Society programme and the new Information Sciences programme.

Hybrid Study Mode

At FIS we offer flexible study options with hybrid participation in lectures and tutorials at all three levels of study. FIS students can choose how they wish to attend – either in person at the faculty or remotely online, from anywhere in Slovenia or abroad. At every step, they are supported by our renowned professors and friendly professional staff. An additional advantage is our collaboration with companies in the local environment.
