The Faculty of Information Studies’ Career Event was held on Wednesday 14 May 2025 and was a great success. The event took the form of a career speed networking, which is designed to give students the opportunity to meet as many employers as possible in a short space of time and to find out directly everything they wish to know about internship, student jobs and employment opportunities. At the same time, it allows employers to get to know a wide range of students.
For both students and employers, career speed networking presents a number of opportunities. For students, they are often a practice run before interviews for internships, student work or jobs in real-life environments. For employers, it is an opportunity not only to increase their visibility but also to showcase their organisation’s activities in a slightly less formal way. The key advantage for students and employers is undoubtedly learning how to be concise or to be able to present only the most important information in no more than 10 minutes.

- Rudolfovo – Scientific and Technological Centre Novo mesto
