Associate Professor Dr Nana Weber participated in an international program for academic staff at the University of Galway’s English Language Centre (Ireland) from July 5 to 12, 2026. The program focused on teaching specialised content in English, with an emphasis on EMI (English Medium Instruction) and CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning).

Through intensive and practice-oriented workshops, she enhanced her skills in teaching in English, adapting communication to students with varying language proficiency levels, clearly presenting complex academic content, writing academic content, facilitating discussions, and effectively answering questions. Special attention was also given to pronunciation, intonation, and presenting oneself with confidence in an international academic setting.

This mobility program provided a valuable professional and personal experience, as well as an opportunity to enhance competencies that significantly contribute to high-quality, inclusive, and internationally oriented higher education.
