As part of Work Package 3 (Acquiring of new transferable skills) in the Twin Synergies project consortium led by Steinbeis Europa Zentrum (SEZ), three online coaching sessions were held. These sessions were designed to develop non-scientific but strategically important skills for researchers and policy support professionals. The webinar series covered topics such as innovation management, international business expansion and strategic communication:
- Innovation Management (October 2024) – The first session introduced participants to the PEERT method, SWOT analysis and KPIs for managing innovation processes. SEZ experts guided partners to develop robust innovation strategies.
- Business Internationalisation (March 2025) – The second coaching focused on developing strategies to enter international markets, establish partnerships and make use of EU instruments to support the internationalisation of research results.
- Strategic Communication (July 2025) – The third session, recently completed, showed how to present project results and increase the visibility of Twin Synergies services among local and European decision-makers.
All coaching sessions were held via Teams or Zoom and were attended by all members of the consortium and selected local stakeholders, enabling a rich exchange of good practices and networking at the intersection of cohesion policy and the Horizon Europe programme.
The next step will be the evaluation of the entire coaching programme which will be carried out by FIS as part of activity T3.4. The goal is to develop a model guide for transferring the acquired skills to a wider professional audience.
