On Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Faculty of Information Studies, we awarded certificates to the participants of the free six-month training as part of the NOO pilots Advanced computer skills project. There were 18 recipients of the certificates, and with this ceremony, we have completed the first set of six-month training courses in the two fields “Programming and application development” and “Digitalization, Internet of Things and industrial automation”, which we started in January 2023.

The project enabled interested participants to participate free of charge in shorter formal education, which is set according to the guidelines of higher education study programs at the Faculty of Information Studies. The financing of the project is provided by the European Union – NextGenerationEU and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation as part of the measures of the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

During this time, the participants of the six-month trainings developed their digital competences and skills, necessary for competitiveness on the labor market. Individuals who successfully completed the obligations of the six-month education thus received a certificate of completed higher education course obligations, evaluated with credit points, which can also be claimed in the case of further study.

We sincerely congratulate all our participants of the six-monthly training and wish them much success on their further journey. We invite and encourage all those interested in joining the second semester of training, which will begin in January 2024, to follow our website and social media, because applications for enrolment in the 2024 academic year will open in the fall.
