On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, we held a traditional Winter Camp at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto (FIŠ), which offered a range of different activities.

At this year’s Winter Camp, after the opening speeches of the dean of FIŠ, prof. dr. Matej Makarovič, dean of FUDŠ, prof. dr. Borut Rončević and vice-dean for scientific and research work, Assoc. dr. Nuša Erman, in the first part of the presentation, devoted to the scientific and research work of FIŠ. To begin with, the FIŠ project office, thus strengthened, presented its activities, which followed news from the field of scientific research work at FIŠ, and the progress of young researchers and plans for the future were also presented.

In the second part of the Winter Camp, Dr. Andreja Umek Venturini, who presented the program and the method of preparing Horizon Europe and European Research Council (ERC) project proposals.

In the third part, the research colleagues had the opportunity to meet at a strategic meeting, while the training for the use of Excel, which was carried out by the senior, was aimed at a professional and pedagogical colleague dr. Albert Zorko.
