The Faculty of Information Studies is developing a tool to improve the quality and success of project applications to national and international calls for proposals, within the framework of the Online Support for the Preparation of Project Proposals – S4P infrastructure programme. The aim of the programme is to identify and eliminate all the main sources of errors that occur during the preparation and submission of project applications, through the analysis of the characteristics of past calls for proposals and discussions with research teams and field administrators.

The solution developed in the framework of the programme will be a substantial upgrade of existing practices (eForms, SICRIS, etc.). While eForms are an excellent solution and have improved the completeness of applications, they do not check all the conditions of the applicant, and they do not guide the user in the application according to good practices, nor do they provide assistance in the planning of the financial plan of the project, and they are limited to the ARIS calls.
