At the Faculty of Information Studies, within the framework of the infrastructure programme Online Support for Project Proposal Preparation – S4P, we are developing a tool aimed at improving the quality and success rate of project applications for both national and international calls. The goal of the programme is to analyse the characteristics of past project applications and to consult with research groups and domain coordinators in order to identify and eliminate the main sources of errors that typically arise during the preparation and submission of project proposals.

The solution developed under this programme will represent a substantive upgrade of existing practices (eObrazci, SICRIS, etc.). Although eObrazci is an excellent system that has improved the completeness of applications, it does not verify all eligibility criteria of the applicant, does not guide users according to best practices during the application process, and does not assist in planning the project’s financial structure. Additionally, it is limited to ARIS calls.
