Slovenian Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education has granted the Faculty of Information Studies accreditation for the professional higher education study programme Game Development and Extended Realities.

The Game and Extended Reality Development study programme is modern and practice-oriented. It combines technical knowledge with creativity and enables students to gain hands-on experience through practical work, projects, and collaboration with industry already during their studies.

The programme is focused on the skills and competencies demanded by the labour market and follows current development trends in Slovenia and Europe. Students acquire both fundamental and advanced knowledge while developing a research-oriented and innovative approach.

A key advantage of the programme is strong cooperation with domestic and international partners and companies, which provides students with practical training and improves their employment opportunities. Teaching takes place in modern facilities, using advanced equipment and technologies, including a supercomputer.

The programme meets all quality standards, has clearly defined admission requirements, and ensures transparent assessment and progression. Its goal is to equip graduates with the skills needed to work in the rapidly growing field of game development and virtual and extended realities.
