Title of the Public Call:

Purpose and Objectives of the Call:
The purpose of the call is to enable students to gain practical experience, develop competencies, and build connections with the working environment. The call encourages the development of entrepreneurship, innovation, critical thinking and creativity, while strengthening cooperation and knowledge transfer between higher education institutions and the local/regional environment. The objective is to involve students in project-based activities to facilitate their transition to the labour market and to establish long-term cooperation with the wider community.
Within the second call for proposals, FIŠ is implementing three projects:
DigiPOP+ – Upgrading a Digital Data Tool for Sustainable Optimisation
The project addresses the challenges of digital transformation in rural and border areas. Its aim is to upgrade an existing digital data management tool by developing a modern dashboard, improving user experience, integrating archived data, and optimising information solutions.
VEZ – Exploring the Role of Self-Help Groups for Older People in Rural Areas
This project focuses on the social exclusion of older people in rural communities, where access to formal support services is limited. It examines the importance of self-help groups as forms of informal support that strengthen interpersonal connections, well-being, and community inclusion.
VIVI – See, Believe, Choose: A Video Scenario for the Future of Education
The project addresses the challenge of low awareness of lifelong learning among young people, the unemployed, and adult opportunity seekers, particularly in rural areas. Its aim is to develop a contemporary video scenario to promote learning, based on real-life stories, visual presentations of learning environments, and an emphasis on digital, sustainable and employment-related aspects.
