Miloš Ivanović je leta 2010 doktoriral iz računalništva na Univerzi v Kragujevcu v Srbiji, kjer se je specializiral za numerične metode in paralelizacijo algoritmov. Njegova akademska pot se je začela s študijem fizike, nato pa se je njegovo raziskovalno delo nadaljevalo na področju naravoslovno-tehničnega računalništva. Na Univerzi v Kragujevcu je leta 2023 pridobil naziv rednega profesorja. Deloval je tudi kot gostujoči raziskovalec na Tehnični univerzi v Braunschweigu v Nemčiji ter na univerzi Cranfield v Veliki Britaniji. Tekom svoje kariere je poučeval širok nabor predmetov na vseh stopnjah študija, s posebnim poudarkom na operacijskih sistemih, računalniških omrežjih in vzporednem računalništvu. Njegovo raziskovalno delo se osredotoča na stičišče numeričnega modeliranja, fizikalno podprtega strojnega učenja in visoko zmogljivega računalništva (HPC). Je avtor številnih znanstvenih publikacij v mednarodnih revijah in aktivno sodeluje pri večjih mednarodnih raziskovalnih projektih s področja digitalnih dvojčkov, umetne inteligence in oblačnih storitev. Poleg pedagoškega dela ima izkušnje z upravljanjem računskih centrov in nacionalnih grid infrastruktur. Fakulteti za informacijske študije v Novem mestu se je pridružil leta 2026.

Miloš Ivanović earned his PhD in Computer Science from the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, in 2010, specializing in numerical methods and algorithm parallelization. His academic journey began with a degree in physics, which laid the foundation for his subsequent research in the field of scientific and technical computing. In 2023, he was appointed Full Professor at the University of Kragujevac. He has also served as a visiting researcher at the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany and at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. Throughout his career, he has taught a wide range of courses at all academic levels, with a particular focus on operating systems, computer networks, and parallel computing. His research focuses on the intersection of numerical modeling, physics-informed machine learning, and high-performance computing (HPC). He is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals and actively participates in major international research projects in the areas of digital twins, artificial intelligence, and cloud services. In addition to his teaching and research, he has extensive experience in managing computing centers and national grid infrastructures. He joined the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto
