Darja Marjanović je na Fakulteti za informacijske študije v Novem mestu lektorica za angleški jezik in izvaja predmet Strokovna angleščina 2 za področje IKT.
Leta 2001 je diplomirala na dvopredmetnem študijskem programu na Filozofski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, smer francoski jezik in književnost ter angleški jezik in književnost, s čimer je pridobila naziv profesorica francoščine in angleščine.
Ima dolgoletne izkušnje s področja vzgoje in izobraževanja. Zaposlena je na Šolskem centru Novo mesto, na Srednji elektro-računalniški šoli in tehniški gimnaziji. Poučuje v programu tehniške gimnazije ter v srednjih strokovnih in poklicnih programih, smer elektrotehnik in tehnik računalništva. Je tudi predavateljica na Višji strokovni šoli in poučuje na Enoti za izobraževanje odraslih na Šolskem centru Novo mesto.
Svoje znanje in izkušnje je pridobivala in nadgrajevala z aktivnim sodelovanjem v številnih projektih Zavoda republike Slovenije za šolstvo in Ministrstva za vzgojo in izobraževanje, in sicer v naslednjih projektih: Mreža učečih se šol I in II, Posodobitev gimnazijskih programov na strokovnih gimnazijah kot, Formativno spremljanje v podporo vsakemu dijaku in razvoju vključujoče šole ter NA-MA POTI – Naravoslovna, Matematična pismenost, Opolnomočenje, Tehnologija, Interaktivnost. Izvedla je samostojne referate na temo medpredmetnega poučevanja na mednarodnih konferencah.
V sodelovanju z drugimi avtorji je opravila recenzijo učbenika avtorice Joanne Collie Way up. [Intermediate. Učbenik za angleščino v 1. in 2. letniku gimnazij in vseh letnikih srednjih strokovnih šol], ter bila soavtorica priloge učbenika Way up: Way up. Grammar and vocabulary booklet.

Darja Marjanović is lecturer for English at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto, where she teaches Professional English 2 for the field of ICT course.
In 2001, she graduated from the double-subject study programme at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, majoring in French Language and Literature and English Language and Literature, thus obtaining the title of Professor of French and English.
She has many years of experience in education. She works at the School Centre Novo mesto, the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering and Computing Science and Technical Gymnasium. She teaches in the technical gymnasium programme and in secondary vocational and professional programmes, in the field of electrical engineering and computer science. She is also a lecturer at the Higher Vocational School and teaches at the Adult Education Unit at the School Centre Novo mesto.
She has gained and improved her knowledge and experience through active participation in the following projects of the National Education Institute Slovenia and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Slovenia: Network of Learning Schools I and II, Modernisation of grammar school programmes at technical gymnasiums, Formative Monitoring in Support of Every Student and the Development of an Inclusive School as well as NA-MA POTI – Science, Mathematical Literacy, Empowerment, Technology, Interactivity. She has given individual presentations on cross-curricular teaching at international conferences.
She has co-authored a review of Joanne Collie’s textbook Way up. [Intermediate. A textbook for English in the first and second years of grammar schools and all years of professional secondary schools], and co-authored the appendix of the textbook Way up. Grammar and vocabulary booklet.
