Zorana Levnajića in prof. dr. Maximiliana Moserja uspešno zagovarjal doktorsko disertacijo z naslovom: »Modelling Human Cardiorespiratory System Through Heart-Rate Variability«.

He graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in University of Ljubljana. After study he participated in various professional trainings, from the program of Advanced training in computer science and informatics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Ljubljana, to the Cisco seminar. He continued his studies at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo mesto in the doctoral program Information Society. As part of his studies, he established cooperation with FIŠ in the professional field with the Faculty of Medicine in Graz and the Human Research Institute in Weiz. An important milestone of this cooperation was in 2020, when under the mentorship of Assoc. dr. Zoran Levnajić and prof. Dr. Maximilian Moser successfully defended his doctoral dissertation: “Modeling Human Cardiorespiratory System Through Heart-Rate Variability”. He has been teaching since 2020 and has conducted exercises in the Information Systems subject (study programs Informatics in Contemporary Society / Computer Science and Web Technologies), lectures in the Introduction to Algorithms course study programs Informatics in Contemporary Society / Computer Science and Web Technologies), exercises in the Introduction to Computer Science course (study programs Informatics in Contemporary Society / Computer Science and Web Technologies), exercises in the Programming course in the Master’s study program Computer Science and Web Technologies, excercises in the Introduction to Data Science in the Master’s programme Data Science, and exercises in the Software Development course in the Master’s study program Computer Science and Web Technologies. He is cooperating with the Laboratory for Complex Systems and Data Science (http://codlab.fis.unm.si/). Algorithms in biomedicine and knowledge discovery from biomedical data continue to be important research areas.
